I'm grooming this one early. Check out that balance!

Given my son's nature to be very cautious. Not always a bad thing! I thought he would be in High School before he would agree to take off his training wheels. As cautious as he is, his other favorite past time is proving me wrong. So this Fall when I least expected it and when his really bad thread stripped training wheels couldn't be tightened anymore, I convinced them to take them off. Like a true mamma's boy (I know because I was one too) I will take them off if mommy helps me. So off they came! Just like everything else he does once he decides to do it, It will be conquered. So within about 20 minutes of practicing, He was done with mom and dad and peddling like a pro. So look out neighborhood here comes Luke a 90 miles an hour!
As usual something screwy always happens on one of my bike rides. Debbie was out doing something (shopping, working, shopping, working, shopping, working; you get the idea). So I decide to take the boys on a bike ride. Just me and my guys! Our favorite route is to go behind the firestation where the city is doing some construction to watch the big trucks and tractors. On this particular day when we finished watching the trucks and started back home this mangee creature came chasing after us. We peddled as hard as we could to lose this creature but it just kept coming faster and faster. Appropriately Luke named this creature Speedy, and it didn't take him long to figure out that this was a pretty cool place to be. Speedy or peedy if your Aidan took up residence in our garage with a bed furnished by one of the neighbor kids. After much deliberation, phone calls, and an add in the paper, We are now the proud adopted people of a Cairn Terrier named Speedy.
