It's Not About the Bike

I know I talk about the bike a lot and my blog is about the bike but to borrow a famous quote sometimes (most times) It's not about the bike. On December 9th a day after my wife's birthday, a day which many of our friends surprised her by taking her to the Chicago Concert, I kidnapped my wife and took her to Ft. Worth. Kelly packed her bag (thanks kel) and I actually made it out of Wichita Falls before I had to tell her at least our destination (for those of you that know Debbie you will understand). We arrived early evening to Etta's Place (Top picture white portion of the building between the corner and the red high rise) a bed&breakfast that used to be a boarding house run by Etta who was the girlfriend and some think wife of the infamous Sundance Kid. After checking in we had dinner reservations at the Reata restaurant (Top Picture on the corner), We had a fabulous meal and Debbie was not allowed to add up the cost. We spent the evening walking around Sundance Square and shopping at the enormous Barnes and Noble. The next morning we got up and went to breakfast which quite possibly could be the best breakfast I have ever had. We shopped some more and went to the Bass Performance Hall (Picture Right). There we got a personal tour of the facility and its history. If you ever get a chance to go please do the Hall is immaculate. We went to the Movie Narnia in the afternoon and then came home. For those of you that are married and have kids spend some time alone with out the kids, the pets, and the family, It always reminds me of why we connected in the first place and it's definitely not about the bike.
